Relevance of Transactions in TA
TA started off being a system of individual and social psychiatry. In that role its purpose was to study the psychiatric aspects of transactions that take place between two or more people at a given time and place. Psychiatric aspects means, causes for mental, emotional, behavioural, accommodating, coping, effectiveness disorders viewed from a medical perspective.

TA Proper

It is the second stage of TA Treatment. In TA Proper analysis of single transactions and groups of transactions is done in terms of their constituent ego states. It follows Structural Analysis and is followed by Game Analysis.
