Vulnerability
Engaging in games, being drawn into games or being initiator or participant in games is incidental to living life. It is not important to know whether or not we play games. It is important to know what games we play and from which roles. Knowing the ways and means of becoming free of the outcomes of games is also of advantage. Games tell us about our vulnerability regarding racket feeling needs. Therefore, getting our healthy stroke needs met, and moving out of stroke economy is recommended.
Games help in structuring time in the short term. They are segments of script. Therefore games contribute in furthering script. Accepting one's participation in game affords opportunity to move out of engagements in them.

Degrees of Games
Games are categorised in terms of their degrees. First degree games create gossip They create a mild and short-lived upset. Second degree games result in hurt relationships and related outcomes. Parties rarely like discussing them in social circles. They bounce off questions or interest of others about them. Third degree games cause physical, emotional, mental, or psychological hurt or harm.
Ending Games
Games can be ended or avoided by:
Gaining awareness of a game in progress.
Not blaming self or the other for being the cause of the dynamic.
By not justifying the reason for engaging in the game.
Moving to intimacy at switch.
Having the skill of going backward to pre-switch point and ending it in a constructive way. This process is called 'roll back and move forward'.
By putting the payoff in a drawer and proceeding with the other player as if nothing happened.
