Berne's Observations with regard to Transactions

Berne observes in his Hello Book that there are 6592 types of possible transactions. Of these 9 are complementary, 72 are crossed, 6480 are duplex and 36 are angular. Of these only 15 occur in ordinary practice.

TA provides rules of communication using the types of transactions as the basis.

Transactions also reflect manifestations of human behaviour.
